This pickup can make a wide variety of tones, and can be used for a wide variety of music styles. You can use it for metal, punk rock, texas/chicago/delta blues, and even a bit of classical music. It sounds great for all of them if you know how to dial in your tone.
This is a great sounding low noise pickup. It balances well with a humbucker as a combo setup. Center tap capable. Once you do get them wired up, the sound quality is impressive. They have some punch and a nice warm color: clear but not shrill or piercing. They rock with authority, but also sound really nice for playing clean jazz and blues.

How to install ?
The installation of one (1) humbucker with one (1) volume control and one (1) tone control, no selector switch is involved, no split coil setup. It’s straight forward and relatively easy but care should be exerted.
RED and WHITE wires are twisted together and should be taped so as not to short out against anything metal. The GREEN and BARE wires are twisted together and soldered to GROUND on the Volume pot. The BLACK wire is soldered onto the same leg of the Volume pot that has the wire coming from the middle contact of the Tone control.

4 Wires Plus a Sheild: RED and WHITE wires are twisted/soldered together, another GREEN and BARE wires are twisted/soldered together, 4 cores cable 2 from one coil, and 2 from another coil. Just connect the wires between the 2 coils and wire it like the single coil you are replacing.
Made of ceramic magnets, triple wax dipped and vacuum sealed to eliminate any unwanted feedback and noise. It can be used in either location depending on the sound you want. Closer to the neck will give a more mellow sound, while closed to the bridge will give a brighter trebly sound.
Black body with chrome dual rails, twin bar as two pole can fully shielded for low noise and wired for hum cancelling, while it produces fairly high output and is optimized for high-gain applications, quiet and slightly warmer.
