This is a fantastic pre-wired 6 string magnetic pickup harness that can be used with both acoustic and loopers, ready to be fitted to your cigar box guitar or other stringed instrument without soldering or worrying about wiring principles.

How to install ?
1.Use a 1/4 drill hole
2.Fishing the wiring where you needed it with a piece of string, slide sting through hole you drilled, pull it out of soundhole , tie it to endpin jack part (loosely) and pull it through hole you drilled ,fasted part to guitar, now you can either stick your hand & arm through soundhole & remove string or just cut it off on them outside of guitar.
3.The rest of installation is fairly simple . Just take your time & it works & sounds pretty good
Only suggestion I would make is extend the lentgh of the wires to volume control and tone.

Tips:
★ Where does the black wire go? Is there another way of installing it ?
The black wire is the ground wire. It is ultimately attached to the ground lug on the output jack. Most often it is soldered onto the back of the volume or tone pots, and then another ground wire is soldered from that pot to the ground lug on the output jack.
The magnetic pickup is mounted in plastic mounting ring for easy to install, to be located far in the back just in front of the bridge, where the vibration of the stings is more discrete and easier to place exactly for the sweetest response.
This single-coil pickup is built-in class A all discrete preampline, and delivers superb noiseless performance, it’s such a simple device means that with the proper adjustments (and amplification, etc) you can make the sound you want to hear.
